Refund Policy
Al-Samit Overseas
Last Updated: October 2026
At Al-Samit Overseas, we value transparency, and we want you to know that Al-Samit Overseas is committed to providing fair and equitable treatment to all our clients. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which a refund may be applicable for a recruitment, documentation, processing or other service-related fee paid to Al-Samit Overseas.
1. General Refund Policy
A refund request will be reviewed according to the progress of the recruitment, services already provided, expenses already incurred, employer requirements and applicable laws and regulations. Recruitment or processing amount payment does not guarantee employment, visa approval, medical fitness or overseas deployment, as some decisions are subject to the control of employers, government authorities, embassies, immigration departments, medical centres and other third parties.
2. When a Refund May be Considered
A refund may be applicable where appropriate if a recruitment requirement is cancelled by the employer before significant processing takes place, if Al-Samit Overseas cannot provide an agreed service for which payment has been received or where a refundable amount is specifically mentioned in the candidate’s written agreement, receipt or official communication. Any approved refund will be reviewed after expenses already incurred during the recruitment or processing procedure are subtracted.
3. Non-Refundable Charges
Certain payments may become non-refundable once the relevant service has been provided or an expense has been made. This may apply to charges paid to independent third parties or authorities providing or facilitating services such as:
- Medical examination or health-related testing
- Government, embassy, visa or immigration charges
- Document attestation, verification or legalization
- Trade test, skills assessment or interview
- Travel, transportation or accommodation arrangement
- Courier, translation or document-processing service
- Other third-party service requested or completed on behalf of the candidate
Al-Samit Overseas will not be responsible for refunding the amount already paid to third-party organizations where the amount is non-refundable.
4. Candidate Withdrawal
If a candidate voluntarily withdraws from the recruitment process after registration, selection, documentation, medical examination, visa processing or other services have commenced, the amount already incurred or services already completed may not be refundable. Any remaining refundable amount, if applicable, will depend on the recruitment processing stage and the terms previously communicated to the candidate.
5. Employer Cancellation or Change in Requirement
Employers may occasionally cancel, postpone or change recruitment requirements for operational, economic, regulatory or business reasons. If an employer withdraws a vacancy, Al-Samit Overseas may, where possible, offer the candidate an alternative suitable opportunity. If this is not available, any refund eligibility will be reviewed according to the services already completed and expenses incurred.
6. Visa Rejection
Visa approval will be determined by the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority or government department. A visa rejection does not automatically make all the recruitment-related payments refundable; any refund will depend on the reason for rejection, the processing stage, applicable third-party charges and the terms communicated to the candidate. Where a visa is rejected as a result of inaccurate information, fraudulent documents, undisclosed immigration history or another candidate-related issue, applicable service and processing charges may remain non-refundable.
7. Medical Unfitness
Candidates applying for overseas employment may be required to undergo a medical examination. If a candidate is declared medically unfit by an authorized medical centre or competent authority, medical examination charges and other incurred expenses are generally non-refundable. Any further refund eligibility will depend on the recruitment stage and services already completed.
8. False or Misleading Information
No refund may be made for expenses or services already incurred where an application is rejected due to the candidate providing false, forged, incomplete or misleading information or documents. Candidates are responsible for ensuring that all documents and information are genuine and correct.
9. Failure to Attend Interviews or Complete Formalities
Candidates are expected to attend interviews, trade tests, medical examinations, documentation appointment and other recruitment-related procedures. If a candidate repeatedly fails to attend scheduled appointments or complete formalities without reasonable notice, the amount relating to already arranged or completed services may not be refundable.
10. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a candidate accidentally makes a duplicate payment or an amount is received in error, the candidate should contact Al-Samit Overseas and provide valid proof of the payment. After verification, any amount confirmed as an excess or duplicate payment will be processed according to the applicable payment method and internal verification procedure.
11. How to Request a Refund
Candidates requesting a refund should contact Al-Samit Overseas via an official communication channel and provide their full name, application or reference details, payment receipt, payment date, the amount paid and reason for requesting the refund. Refund requests will be reviewed individually. Additional documents or information may be requested where necessary to verify the refund request.
12. Refund Processing
Once a refund has been approved, the candidate will be informed about the eligible amount and the applicable processing procedure. The time to reflect the amount in the candidate’s account may vary according to the bank, payment provider or method applicable at the time of payment.
13. Payments to Unauthorized Persons
Candidates should only make payments using payment methods or accounts officially communicated by Al-Samit Overseas and should always receive an appropriate receipt or proof of payment. Al-Samit Overseas will not be responsible for payments made to unauthorized agents, individuals, intermediaries or third parties not officially authorized to receive payments on behalf of the company.
14. Changes to this Refund Policy
Al-Samit Overseas reserves the right to revise this Refund Policy when necessary due to recruitment procedure changes, regulatory requirements, service conditions or applicable laws. The policy applicable to a particular transaction may also be subject to the written terms provided to the candidate at the time of acceptance of service or payment.
